Confluence 26/27 Timber Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a selective thinning of approximately 137 acres of mixed pine species on Blackwater River State Forest in Santa Rosa County, Florida (SFI Certified Forest BVC-SFIFM-700005). Within the sale area, carefully chosen longleaf has been marked to keep and offsite pine species such as slash and loblolly have been selected for removal. Timber marked with yellow paint is not to be harvested or damaged. All unmarked pine within the sale area is available for harvest. Estimated volume for the sale is: 1,048 tons of pine pulpwood, 190 tons of pine super pulpwood, 612 tons of pine chip-n-saw, 3,382 tons of pine sawtimber, and 376 tons of pine poles. Sale area boundaries are marked with double dots of orange paint. This will be a 24-month contract.
