PTAG Part 6.1.1 Synopsis – Non-Competitive





The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for contractor support for conference event to registration for (2) two double-wide exhibiting booths that is scheduled from March 5-9, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois.





The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a contract for exhibit space, booth rental (a double-wide booth, high back drape and side drapes, two six-foot tables and four chairs, booth identification sign, and complimentary tickets as National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is the sole provider of programming to all members of the National Society of Black Engineers association for a conference located in Chicago, Illinois. to National Society of Black Engineers, 205 Daingerfield Rd., Alexandria, VA 22314-2833 for a period of March 5, 2025 through March 9, 2025, with an estimated value of $30,000.00. The anticipated award date is February 14, 2025.





National Society of Black Engineer is the only conference that is structured to handle the entire black engineering community and all its associates simultaneously, and it’s the only known qualified source. As a result of the USPTO’s exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternate Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A).
