Concrete Services for Boulder County Parks and Open Space

The Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department (BCPOS) is seeking qualifications from professional contractors for concrete construction work. This work can include but is not limited to sidewalk, flatwork, curb and gutter, and structural and non-structural walls. The contractor will provide all mobilization, layout work, winter protection (concrete blankets), clearing and grubbing, sub-grade preparation including any additional base course that may be necessary and/or minor grading, any patching required to tie in new concrete or asphalt, erosion control, and thermoplastic and epoxy pavement marking. The contractor will also be required to cover the costs of concrete pumping. The project sites are all located within Boulder County limits, focusing on Parks and Open Space properties. Some locations may be in difficult to reach areas such as: up trail systems or near water sources and may have other environmental limitations. When possible, the contractor will use low carbon concrete. The Contractor agrees to work in a timely and efficient manner, and in accordance with the contract, plans and specifications for the specific project. All work will be in compliance with the ASTM’s cement and concrete standards.
