2025 Concrete Replacement Project

This project shall be conducted in accordance with the standards, specifications and other contract documents, all of which may be obtained as per section A-2 of this Notice Inviting Bids.   The project consists of the following:

The work generally includes the forming and placement of Portland cement concrete (PCC).   Approximately 1877 square feet of approximately 4” to 5” sidewalk concrete and 119 linear feet of curb and gutter.  Specific locations of work have been chosen such that travel distances between specific locations will be minimized within a typical work week.

City shall perform USA of location, removal of damaged sidewalk, preparation of subgrade, repair or replacement of existing landscaping and/or irrigation, and provide traffic control throughout the duration of the project including the Contractor’s performed work. Contractor shall perform all flatwork for installation of a new PCC sidewalk and connection to the existing sidewalk, curb, and gutter including form, pour, place, scores, and finish of the new PCC sidewalk.

The City’s estimated cost of the improvements for base bid only is $50,000 to $80,000.
