City of Gallatin
1.0 Introduction
The City of Gallatin is accepting bids for Concrete Pricing. Bids will be due on
Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Concrete
Pricing.
1.1 Scope of Work
The City of Gallatin seeks Bids for annual pricing for the purchase of concrete.
The City of Gallatin purchases an estimated 1000 + yards per year.
2.0 Technical Requirements
See Concrete Specifications
3.0 Vendor Requirement
Vendor shall deliver f.o.b. to Gallatin, TN.
Vendor must complete attached Price Sheet.
Pricing is good for 6 months, contract pricing will begin July 1, 2026, and will
end January 31, 2027.
4.0 Evaluation of Proposals
The City of Gallatin will award the contract to lowest responsible and responsive
bidder meeting specifications, quality, and performance standards pursuant to the
Municipal Purchasing Act of 1983. Response will be based on the following
factors;
Completeness of response
Cost
Vendor track record, including references
Quality of service
Quality of product

5.0 Contract Award
The City of Gallatin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive
any informality found therein. The City of Gallatin will award a contract based on
evaluations described above.
6.0 Proposal Submission
Bid Due Date: Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM

By submission of this bid, each bidder and each person signing on behalf of any bidder
certifies, and in the case of a joint bid each party thereto certifies as to its own
organization, under penalty of perjury, that to the best of its knowledge and believe that
each bidder is not on the list created pursuant to 12-12-106.
Boycott of Israel.
Contractor certifies that it is not currently engaged in, and covenants that it will not, for
the duration of the Contract, engage in a Boycott of Israel, as that term is defined in Tenn.
Code Ann. 12-4-127.
Title VI
It is the policy of the City of Gallatin to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to the end that no
person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of, or be

CONCRETE AND FLOWABLE FILL MATERIAL
Materials for Concrete & Flowable Fill
Materials used shall meet the following requirements of TDOTSS, 2021.
Material Subsection
Portland cement, Type 1 901.01 - AASHTO M 85
Fly Ash, Class C or Class F 921.15 - AASHTO M 295
Water 921.01 - AASHTO T 26
Chemical Additives 921.06(A) - AASHTO M 194
Air Entraining Admixtures 921.06(B) - AASHTO M 154
Fine aggregate shall conform to the requirements of TDOTSS, 2021, Subsection 903.01
- Table 903.01-2 (Gradation Requirements for Fine Aggregate).
Coarse aggregate shall conform to the requirements of TDOTSS, 2021, Subsection
903.03.
For Flowable Fill mixture specifications, material shall meet the following
requirements of TDOTSS, 2021, subsection 204.06(B).
Flowable Fill Proportioning:
Material Per Cubic Yard
Portland Cement, Type 1 100 lbs.
Fly Ash, Class C or F 250 lbs. (Minimum)
Fine Aggregate 2800 lbs.
Water 60 gal. (Approximate)
