Concessionaire Services - Aquatic Center

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, County of Stanislaus, State of California (“City”), will receive proposals (each, a "Proposal") electronically through its OpenGov Procurement portal from qualified Proposers (each, a “Proposer”) for the furnishing of Concessionaire Services - Aquatic Center services (the “Services”) for the City of Modesto, Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Department, Recreation Division. Proposals are due before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 . Proposals received in any other format will not be accepted.

The City of Modesto is seeking proposals for a Contractor to provide independent concession services at the newly constructed Aquatic Center located in Chavez Park.

The Aquatic Center is slated open May 2026 and will operate seasonally from Memorial through Labor Day. The facility will feature a water tower with 5 slides, a 4-lane pool, and party rooms.

Desirable proposals will offer extended operational hours and a low-cost, family-friendly menu that includes healthy options. Vendors are expected to operate during the facility’s full hours and serve children and families visiting for recreational use.

The Concession Stand will have several appliances installed including: 2 reach-in refrigerators, soft serve freezer, countertop heated display case, beverage dispenser, coffee machine, bullet oven, and conveyer oven.
