REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Hattiesburg is issuing a Request for Proposals for a Comprehensive Plan update from planners, architects, engineers, and other related professionals for the city and its growth area. The goal of the Comprehensive Plan is to develop a public policy statement for the physical development of the city by balancing the vision of city leadership, citizens, and stakeholders through an assessment of needs, desires, economic sustainability, best management practices, and innovation. Considerations include but are not limited to goals and objectives, a land use plan, a transportation plan, and a community facilities plan. The intended outcome of the project is to adopt the Comprehensive Plan with an updated 20-year vision.

Proposals are due no later than 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7th, 2024. Any proposals received after this deadline may be returned to the offeror unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and/or divide any project into sections.
