Comprehensive Plan Update

Greetings,

The Town of Breckenridge (Town) is pleased to announce that we are soliciting proposals for an update to the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.  The Comprehensive Plan will include new Plan elements as required by state law (e.g., Strategic Growth Element, Water Supply Element, Housing Action Plan) and will also include other elements such as Land Use, with a focus on redevelopment.  The Town is looking for a strong planning team that can lead the public outreach efforts of the plan process, as well as assist with policy development and other tasks, as outlined in the linked RFP below.

Qualified applicants can submit proposals to Mark Truckey, Community Development Director, at markt@townofbreckenridge.com , who will serve as the primary point of contact for this RFP, no later than 4:00 pm MT on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. All questions must be received by November 21, 2025. Q&A’s will be posted to the Town’s website by November 26, 2025.
