Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: Sevier School District
The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide:centralized PA intercom and bell system at all district sites, with an emphasis on classroom voice amplification as the primary focus, complemented by safety features. The selected system should provide clear and enhanced audio, streamlined communication, centralized management, and safety measures that support an engaging instructional environment. Proposals should include all necessary licensing, accessories, and installation services, as well as the removal of any existing equipment per the district’s specifications. All components must be new, in OEM factory-sealed containers, with no reworked or refurbished items. The primary objectives include empowering educators through an audio platform that enhances classroom management and the learning experience, with future expandability for video integration; improving communication efficiency through clear, timely alerts, bells, and notifications; centralized management of the audio system; enhanced security features, including emergency broadcasts and teacher alerts via wearable devices; and scalability to support future upgrades. This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims to award a contract for a comprehensive solution, with the option to refrain from selection if no proposal meets the district’s criteria for cost-effectiveness, accessibility, integration, and ease of use in alignment with SSD’s safety and security standards.
It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score justified by the procurement code .
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for 1 year.
