Description

THIS IS A FORMAL EVENT/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Non-electronic and email responses WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The response must be submitted through the SWIFT Supplier Portal no later than the date and time called for in the Event.

PURPOSE. The Department of Administration requests proposals for Compostable Food, Beverage, Storage, and Food Service Ware to be purchased on an as needed basis. Compostable Food Ware will be used to serve meals at schools, hospitals and/or State agencies providing food service. Items such as bowls for hot and cold foods, cups for hot or cold drinks, snap on lids for bowls and cups, forks, knives, plates are some of the items being requested . All items submitted must be BPI certified.

CONTRACT TERM: The term of this contract is anticipated to run from October, 2025 to September 2027, with the option to extend up to an additional three (3) years in increments determined by the State.

SUBMITTING QUESTIONS: The deadline for submitting questions is August 11, at 2:00 pm, Central Time. Questions must be submitted in writing to Molly Gunderson at molly.gunderson@state.mn.us. All questions received by the cutoff date and time will be
responded to via an addendum.
