It is the intention of these specifications to present to prospective proposers the requirements to Administer State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). SHIP is a program that offers free, one-on-one education and assistance to Medicare beneficiaries of all ages in navigating the complexities of Medicare, the appeal process and other related health insurance options such as Medicare supplement policies, managed care options, prescription drug plans, and low-income assistance programs that help with health and drug costs.
