NOTICE OF COMPETITIVE CONTRACTING
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that sealed Competitive Contracting Request for Proposals below will be
received by the Township of Jefferson at the Municipal Building, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake
Hopatcong, Morris County, New Jersey until the 19th day of August, 2026 @ 11:00 A.M. At that
time bids will be publicly opened and read. Proposal prices shall remain firm for a period of sixty
(60) days.
PAYROLL & OTHER RELATED SERVICES
These proposals are being sought pursuant to Local Public Contracts Law Competitive
Contracting Rules and Regulations.
RFP documents and specifications are available for NO CHARGE and can be obtained by
emailing your request to cfett@jeffersontownship.net which must include company name,
company address, phone #, fax #, contact person name and email address.
Proposals shall be addressed to the Purchasing Office, Township of Jefferson, Township of
Jefferson at the Municipal Building, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, Morris County, New
Jersey 07849.
Each Proposal must be enclosed in a SEALED ENVELOPE, properly endorsed with the name of
the Bidder, with the designation "TOWNSHIP OF JEFFERSON SEALED PROPOSAL: PAYROLL
& OTHER RELATED SERVICES, AUGUST 19, 2026, 11:00 A.M."
Any envelope that is received that is not properly marked causing it to be opened prior to the
scheduled opening time will be invalidated.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.
17:27 et seq.
