Bid Description:
Friends of the Winooski River (FWR), a nonprofit dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Winooski River and its tributaries, has received a grant from the Lake Champlain Basin Program for our initiative called Reconnecting with Rivers. This project will work with the communities of Barre, Northfield, and Winooski to improve river access and expand community engagement. FWR is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, firms, or teams to work with community leaders to facilitate creative outreach and engagement with communities to advance efforts to reconnect the public with local rivers.
