Community Commemorative Project

Submissions marked "COR26-00051 – MMIWG2S+ Community Commemorative Project" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Friday April 17, 2026.

The City seeks proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide construction services for a commemorative installation within Mamowimiweyitamowin Park, north of the existing playground, and located at 3750 McKinley Avenue, Regina. The project will create a permanent, culturally respectful public space that acknowledges the impacts of systemic racism under Treaty 4 and supports reconciliation through Indigenous leadership, community engagement, and education.

The scope of work includes the following, but is not limited to:

• General Preparation
• Demolition & removals
• Retaining Wall construction
• Drainage & Irrigation System
• Site and Surface Finishings
• Landscaping & Plant Materials, etc.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

There will be an optional on-site pre-submission meeting at Māmowimīwēyitamōwin Park, 3750 McKinley Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 10:30 AM CST for any interested proponents.
