2025 Community Center Roof Replacement

Project Description: The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of various improvements for the Township’s Community Center Building Roof Sections A, E, E1, F, F1 and G, as identified in the Contract Drawings including, but not limited to: Roof section A roof replacement with a new 90 mil, EPDM roof membrane; Roof sections E1 and F1 a metal panel, flute-fill overlay with a new adhered 90 mil, EPDM membrane; Roof section G replacement of the metal gutters and downspouts (x12); Roof sections E, E1, F, F1 and G, replacement of all exposed metal roof panel fasteners. All work shall include the indicated project warranty and contractor’s workmanship guarantee.
All bids must include lump sum or unit prices to be considered for award by the Township at their option after review of the bid amounts.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township.
A MANDATORY Pre-Job Walk will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA 18062.
The project is subject to the terms of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012). Completed and signed “Public Works Employment Verification Form” is required as a precondition to the award of the Contract and is to be submitted as part of the submission of bid. All contracts between the Contractor and its subcontractors, and between all subcontractors and their respective sub-subcontractors shall contain information about the requirements of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012).
