Communications and Engagement for Hwy 280 St. Paul to Roseville

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for communications and engagement work for road improvements projects for Highway 280 in 2026 and 2028. Contractor will develop and execute a communications and engagement plan and strategies for informing commuters/motorists, businesses, freight, residents and other stakeholders about road improvement projects on Highway 280 from St. Paul to Roseville. In 2026, MnDOT will resurface Highway 280, repair bridges, repair and resurface ramps, repair drainage and make additional improvements. Motorists can expect a full closure of Highway 280 in 2026. In 2028, MnDOT will make safety and accessibility improvements and permanently close the left turn from Highway 280 to Broadway St. N.E. The safety and accessibility improvements are being analyzed and considered. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026 and continue through fall 2028.
