The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking industry insight and innovative approaches to support the future of the Commonwealth Link to Interoperable Communications (COMLINC) system. COMLINC serves as the Commonwealthâs statewide interoperability solution, enabling seamless communication between disparate radio systems across Virginia. Its core mission is to provide a reliable, secure, and flexible environment that allows public safety agencies to connect, coordinate, and respond effectively.Through this Request for Information (RFI), VSP invites suppliers to share capabilities, emerging technologies, architectural approaches, and best practices that could strengthen or modernize the COMLINC system. Responses will help shape future procurement strategy and ensure the Commonwealth continues to deliver robust, interoperable communications for public safety partners statewide
