What is the timeframe expected for us to get to a standard service call vs an emergency service call after the initial call?
So, from reading the bid, it looks like the maximum profit we can make on item is 10% above our cost, it that correct? What about Tarriff surcharges, as most of our suppliers add that after purchase, can they be added to the invoice also? |

Good morning ! Thank you for showing interest in our bid. For timeframe of calls you can refer to page 16 of the ITB under the section “Dispatch of Work”. In it, it states that the contractor shall respond to the facility requiring emergency service no later than (2) hours from the time of notification. Also, response to request for quotations for projects must be no later than forty-eight (48) hours and projects scheduled no later than twelve (12) hours after notification of acceptance of quotes or issuance of a purchase order.
Yes, a maximum mark-up of 10% on parts and materials is allowed. As for your question regarding tariff surcharges; that will be answered in an addendum to be posted tomorrow, 2/25. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Questions for this bid close today, 2/24, at 1:00PM. |
