The Plano Independent School District, Plano Texas, is currently seeking proposals from qualified and interested Agents, Brokers, and Insurers to provide Commercial Casualty Insurance. If you would like to be considered as a proposer for Plano ISD’s Casualty insurance coverages, please complete and submit the attached questionnaire electronically no later than 10:00 A.M.(CST), March 12, 2024.

The District will utilize a two-step process for completing and making this award.

PHASE I – Agent Qualification Questionnaire & Assignment of Markets
PHASE II – Receipt of Proposals based on the market assignment by Plano ISD
RFP specifications will be issued through Ionwave in Phase II

The District’s current coverages below expire July 1, 2024.

All proposers will be qualified and insurance companies will be assigned exclusively to an agent. The proposer’s questionnaire (Attached in "Attachments" tab) is to be completed by the agency, showing proposing local servicing office (not corporate or regional) premium volumes and loss ratios with the selected insurance companies – not the Managing General Agent (MGA).

Indicate the name of any Risk Retention Group, Underwriting Manager, MGA or Wholesaler that will be used, but MGAs and Wholesalers will not be assigned. Underwriting Managers and Risk Retention Groups will only be assigned if there are no conflicts with other participating companies. List the names of all insurance companies and syndicates that are included within an Underwriting Manager group in the space indicated in the Proposer Questionnaire.
