COMING SOON - Virginia Highlands Airport - Abingdon, VA - Rehabilitate Runway 6-24 (21001)
This project involves the rehabilitation of the older portion of Runway 6-24 pavement (4,471' x 75'), new LED runway lighting and signage, new 4-box PAPIs on both runway ends, grading and paving work associated with widening the connector taxiway fillets to meet FAA standards, new LED taxiway lights for the connector taxiways, and drainage work to replace a pipe underneath the runway and regrade an existing channel.
