AMENDMENT TO COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation to add NSNs 3110-00-727-5467, BEARING, BALL, ANNULAR and 5998-01-643-2402, ELECTRONIC COMPONEN to the long-term strategic contract, SPE4AX-24-D-0005. These items support industrial maintenance at the Air Logistics Centers as bench stock as well as other operational uses. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-01.

A letter solicitation will be issued to General Electric Aviation Systems, CAGE 07639. This solicitation will NOT be posted publicly. The proposed sole source contract will be issued to General Electric Aviation Systems, CAGE 07639.

Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code is 332991 and the small business size is 1250 employees.

The Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) for NSN 3110-00-727-5467 is 328 each and for NSN 5998-01-643-2402 ADQ is 156 each. Delivery: FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The requested delivery is 157 Days After Receipt of Order (DARO) for NSN 3110-00-727-5467 and 257 DARO for NSN 5998-01-643-2402. DPAS rating for these items is DOC9.

A Subcontracting plan is not required due to the expected dollar threshold. The clause at 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, applies to this acquisition. Other than certified cost or pricing data is required. The solicitation issue date is February 25, 2025. The closing date is March 12, 2025.
