Collier Area Transit Security Gate Access Parts

The purpose of this solicitation is to award to the lowest, qualified, and responsive vendor for “Collier Area Transit Security Gate Access Parts” located at Collier Area Transit, 8300 Radio Road, Naples, Fl.

The proposed project shall consist of the purchase of various parts that are needed to upgrade the access to an existing gate at our bus facility.

The Collier Area Transit is requesting for quotes to purchase the necessary parts to upgrade our existing gate to have badge access and phone capability with camera for deliveries. Collier County utilizes a blue box and HID card access system as specified herein, the parts can be substituted but must be approved equal with specification sheet attached to the quote for review and approval in order for quote to be valid. There are two spreadsheets to be completed for quote to be valid, the lumpsum one and the second is the itemized by quantity sheet. The awarded vendor will be responsible to ship the parts to 8300 Radio Road Naples, Fl. 34104 once a purchase order has been obtained.

The project shall include but not be limited to the following items: Availability of all parts listed in the bid tab, shipping of all the parts, parts must include all necessary hardware for installation. The parts must be shipped once a purchase order is received. All parts shall be new; there shall be no refurbished parts. All parts shall have one year warranty. All components must have the necessary installation instructions.

This will be an FTA grant funded project. Vendor is responsible to provide all required documentation in a timely manner and must comply with all grant provisions. All grant documentation must be submitted within five (5) calendar days after notice of award. The awarded vendor will receive a purchase order for work and may not start prior to receiving the purchase order.
