Project Description: Release Date: Thursday, January 9, 2025 @ 9:00am Response Date: Tuesday, January 28, 2025 @ 3:00pm Project start date: ASAP upon contract acceptance Specifications • Demo and remove a quantity of two (2) Camus 1.0 MBH High Efficiency Boilers from site and dispose of properly. • Furnish and install a quantity of two (2) Lochinvar Knight Model CCN 999 MBH XL Natural Gas, High Efficiency Boilers 1.0 MBH (no substitutions are allowed) • Furnish electrical connections to existing electrical system • Extend existing concrete pads to facilitate new boilers with reinforced rebar to existing pads • Adjust main gas regulator in mechanical room as needed for proper gas supply to boilers (regulator is in mechanical room) • Demo intake duct from header to old unit • Furnish and install new intake duct from header to new units • Furnish and install 6’ of stainless-steel breaching from boiler to header. Inspect breaching and supply owner with pictures for record. • Demo all copper piping to valves at loop • Furnish and install all new copper piping from boilers to valves at loop using pro press fittings. • Furnish and install matched inline pumps from secondary loop to primary loop, and include the following at each pump. Supply and return ball valves for isolation of pumps, circuit setters, check valves, and strainers. • Furnish and install new low water cutoff • Furnish and install condensate neutralization kit • Furnish tie in to existing controls system and ensure proper operation of existing Carrier controls system • Furnish new air separator in system (existing Bell and Gossett part number BY536006F12001) • Water balance inline pumps for proper gpms and provide report to owner • Furnish complete Factory start up • Provide owner training for proper boiler operation. • Provide 1-year parts and labor warranty guarantee • Provide bid bond of 10% of total cost of project • Provide performance bond for this project. • Provide maintenance bond for 1 year from time of acceptance of project. • Provide all clearances for all employees working on project. • Project needs to be completed within 10 days of receiving of a purchase order from CCS. • Project is to be completed based on prevailing wage / Davis Bacon Act. Certified Payroll will be required to the school district Contract Terms:
25% deposit upon contract acceptance. Net 30 days after installation.
