Collection, Transportation, Marketing and Processing of Municipal Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials and Yard Waste

Project Description: A. Notice to Bidders: 1. The Kenhorst Borough Council will receive electronic bids via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com, until 12:00 p.m. prevailing time on Thursday, October 31, 2024 for Collection, Transportation, Disposal, Marketing and Processing of Municipal Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials and Yard Waste. The bid opening will be held immediately after the bid due time.
Specifications and Bid Forms for the above work can be obtained on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/
There will be no pre-bid conference. All written questions shall be submitted electronically via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid no later than 4:00 pm on October 24, 2024 prevailing time. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be issued by Addenda posted within PennBid’s Public Notices and “Supporting Documentation”. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents from PennBid will be notified by email when an addendum has been posted.
Bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be included in each bid. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted.
The Kenhorst Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid that may not be in the best interest of the public.
Employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, gender or national origin.
