Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and Recycling

Project Description: Sealed Bids for the Collection, Transportation and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and Recycling will be received online by the Borough of Leesport, P.O. Box 710, Leesport, PA 19533 until 10:00 am local time on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the first-year lump sum price. Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening. A Performance Bond or Letter of Credit in the amount of 100% of the contract amount for each year will have to be provided by the successful bidder. The Borough reserves the right to waive any information in the bids received, to reject any or all bids, or to award any contract as deemed to be in the Borough's best interest.
