Muhlenberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, is inviting sealed bids for the Collection, Transportation, and Processing of Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials.  Below are the key details:

Bid Submission Deadline: July 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Bid Opening: July 9, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. at the Township Municipal Building, 210 George Street, Reading, PA 19605.

Service Period: Contract begins January 1, 2026, for either three (3) years or five (5) years, with an optional extension of up to two (2) additional years.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: June 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Township Municipal Building.  Attendance is required to submit a bid.

Bid Submission Deadline: July 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Bid Security: A Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond equal to 10% of the highest bid total (including option years) must accompany the bid.
