Coffee County TIA PI #0016235 Bud Hutcheson Road Paving Project

Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Street and Drainage Improvements for Bud Hutcheson Road and Chaney Road funded by the county¿s awarded Transportation Investment Act Funds (TIA), Project PI # 0016235, Resurfacing Improvements for Bud Hutcheson Road and Street and Drainage Improvements for Grandview Circle funded by the county¿s Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Local Discretionary Funds until 10:00am (local time), Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at which time bids will be opened and read.

The meeting will be held at the Coffee County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be open to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wesley Vickers, County Administrator for the Coffee County Board of Commissioners, 224 West Ashley Street, Suite E, Douglas, Georgia 31533. This is the county¿s new location. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Coffee County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. This conference will be held at the Coffee County Board of Commissioners¿ Office located at 224 West Ashley Street, Suite E, Douglas, Georgia 31533. This pre-bid conference is intended for all contractors submitting a proposal as the prime contractor. It is also encouraged to have all sub-contractors and product vendors present.

The Scope of Work Includes:
Street and Drainage Improvements -Bud Hutcheson Road, Chaney Road, and Grandview Circle
Resurfacing Improvements -Bud Hutcheson Road (0.882 Miles)
All work on the project must be completed by within 480 consecutive calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed.
