Coaxial Thermocouple Requirement

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Medtherm Corporation (CAGE: 53103), to meet the Government’s requirement for Thermocouples, as outlined in Attachment 1 – Thermocouple Specifications, using the authority found at 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), which states “Contracting Officers may solicit from one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency”, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C 1901. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 10:00 AM CST, 25 July 2025. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
