Coastal Engineering Services (Beach Nourishment)

Scope of Services: The City of Deerfield Beach and Town of Hillsboro Beach are soliciting sealed responses from qualified firms for the Coastal Engineering Services (Beach Nourishment) for Municipal Services Department pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, Consultant Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) for the in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of services for the above-mentioned Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
The City and Town will NOT HOLD a Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference.

Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurment Marketplace by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement.

Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess the required Florida license or current certificate of competency issued by Broward County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information.
The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax.
The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
Proposals will be accepted through a secure mailbox at eProcurement (https://deerfield-beach.ionwave.net/HomePage.aspx) until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this RFQ. Late submittals will not be accepted. The City will only accept electronic Proposals for this RFQ.
