UP-2024-003; Coal Storage Building Membrane Replacement

Slippery Rock University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites
Contractors to download bid documents for this project.

Work for the Project shall be accomplished by a Single Prime Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Work included under this Project consists of Demolition and replacement of the reinforced poly membrane covering existing galvanized steel framing including arched roof, (2) end walls, (2) roll-up membranes at end wall openings, membrane skirt, as well as the tensioning system complete. Removal of all demolition items from site.

Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all General Construction to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education and the University.

A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on October 10, 2024, at 10:00AM, at the Heating Plant, 100 Service Drive located in Slippery Rock, PA 16057.

Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on October 31, 2024, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com.

The Bid package is available at http://seller.ariba.com. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint http://seller.ariba.com.
