CN Community Centre Contract Catering

The City of Melville Community Services Recreation Department is requesting proposals from interested vendors to serve as the CN Community Centre, Cornerstone Event Centre contract caterer with optional service to other associated rooms.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals process is to select the vendor or vendors to enter into an agreement with the City to supply food and beverage service at the CN Community Centre, Cornerstone Event Centre with optional service to other associated rooms on a two (2) year term beginning February 1, 2026, with a mutual option to renew for an additional two (2) years. Further details about the Project and specifications requested by the City are set out in the RFP Documents.

Since opening in the fall of 2011, the CN Community Centre quickly became a well utilized hub for sporting activities, banquets, weddings, large sporting events, meetings, tradeshows and more.
The beautiful, air-conditioned Cornerstone Event Centre is the perfect location to host a wedding ceremony, reception, meeting, trade show or special event. With a seating capacity of up to 500 guests, its versatility and elegant design, the Cornerstone Event Centre is one of our most utilized rental rooms.

Located on the upper level and accessed through the arena, the Conference Room overlooks the arena bowl and can hold up to 40 guests. Meetings, luncheons, birthday parties, staff parties, or a private spot to rent during hockey games or concerts makes the lounge a great space.
Boasting a 1,524-seat arena bowl, and a 500-person standing room concourse the Arena is large enough to hold large sporting events, concerts & large functions on its 200’ X 85’ arena surface. The Arena surface continues to host large weddings and graduation ceremonies with catering services in the off seasons.

Located on the upper level with frosted windows, the Royal Drug Mart Cardiac Care & Family Fitness Centre was designed with fitness in mind. The Cardiac Care Centre is also available to accommodate your intimate meetings, luncheons or events with a capacity of up to 75.
