Solicitation Description:

The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) is set to launch its police recruit training academy in the fall of 2024. Due to the current state of their training facility, MTPD will relocate to 10201 Good Luck Road. This new location will accommodate MTPD on a portion of the first floor and the entire second floor. The facility will support police recruit training for approximately 25-30 students per class, along with police officer in-service training, Special Police Officer training, and various other training needs. The primary function of the building will be to host the police recruit training, which will consist of three classes per year, each lasting about six months. Consequently, MTPD must procure equipment to meet the training requirements for MTPD Police Certifications.
