What type of rustic building (Log, Timber or stick frame with rustic siding)?

Bidders’ attention is directed to, and the following text is appended to 3.1.3 Cabin
Structure–
The designs are provided to convey the desired character, dimensions and aesthetic of the
complete structure. State Parks will be flexible in approving the type of construction, (Stick, Post
and Beam, Log, etc.) as long as the structure meets the program requirements detailed in the RFP,
including but not necessarily limited to attractive aesthetic, ADA compliance, and price point that
results in a value investment.
FPR cannot compromise on elements of aesthetic and quality to the point where the cabin
becomes unattractive to rental or compromises the protected image and “brand” of Vermont State
Parks

If Log will that be put out as a separate bid or to be through the Management service?

All work, including labor and materials will be coordinated by and through the management

service and will be incorporated in the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) as structured in the
RFP

This is additional information to assist in evaluating the proposals for award and bidders
must provide hourly rates as appropriate for their firm to the best of their knowledge.

Where is the nearest power source? (New Discovery State Park)
A.
The nearest power source is located at road junction near Campsite #30 at New Discovery
State Park as indicated on sheet 1 of 12 of the drawings titled New Discovery State Park Rustic Cabins
referenced as 11.10 in ATTACHMENTS in the RFP.

Required Amperage?
A.
Power requirements for the Cabins are outlined beginning in Section 3.1.4 in the RFP and
service requirements will be dictated by what is needed to power the desired program in accordance with
NEC.
For the purposes of conduit sizing for proposed RV electrical sites, each powered site
assumes a 50 AMP RV pedestal.
Power requirements for the toilet building will be what is required by the existing demands
of the building.
Repowered existing host site shall be a 50 AMP RV pedestal.
