CM and INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGE REPAIRS PROJECT

The City of South San Francisco is requesting proposals (RFP) for professional construction management and inspection services for the South SF Bridge Repairs Project. The project qualifies under the Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program (BPMP) for funding and references nine (9) independent bridge structures strewn throughout the City. The construction work will consist of repairing concrete spalls, concrete bridge barriers/railings, application of methacrylate to bridge decks, and replacing joint seals. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting construction work involving BPMP bridge rehabilitation repairs and will have a full understanding of the Caltrans Uniform File System of which will need to be adhered to for the project.

1.) Public noticing will be very important in providing ample time for the public to prepare for the bridge repairs. The South SF Bridge Repairs Project is expected to have a construction duration of nine (9) months and is tentatively set to begin in early Summer 2026.

2.) Experience in handling creek diversion systems and monitoring/sampling water quality including the submission of water quality reports is highly desireable.
