Clow Fire Hydrants and Related

Through this Invitation for Bid (IFB), the City of Milpitas (City) is seeking to purchase Clow (no substitutions allowed) Fire Hydrants and Related Parts/Accessories as specified herein. The awarded Vendor must be an authorized reseller/distributor for Clow, and, if not listed as a distributor on Clow's website https://www.clowvalve.com/doing-business-with-clow/sales-team-distributors/ , the apparent lowest-priced Bidder will be required to provide documentation to the City demonstrating that they are an authorized reseller/distributor for Clow prior to an award of contract.

The City reserves the right to purchase additional Clow Fire Hydrants and Related Parts/Accessories from the awarded Vendor for a period of up to 5 years. Any requests for price increases from the awarded Vendor for purchases made after the first year must be justified in accordance with an applicable industry index and may not exceed 3% over the previous year's prices.
