Climbers Run Nature Center Site Improvements

Project Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of Climbers Run Nature Center Site Improvements will be received online by the Lancaster County Conservancy via the PennBid Program until 10 am local time on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at which time the Bids will be made available online. The project consists of constructing ADA accessible and universal access trails, driveway improvements, expanded parking, and stormwater management facilities at the Climbers Run Nature Center.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis.

Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount, the Workmen’s Compensation Affidavit, Public Work Employment Verification Form, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit a must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that construction of this project is being funded, in part, by a state grant administered through the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). The project is subject to the PA Prevailing Wage Act conditions.
Lancaster County Conservancy hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids submitted or any part thereof or item therein. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
