General work description: The project will develop an inventory of existing culverts throughout Yuba County, identify capacity and service life of existing culverts, and identify project specific actions to prevent flooding of roadways.
The County of Yuba is accepting proposals from qualified professional engineering consultants for the development of a comprehensive culvert inventory via a Climate Change Vulnerability Analysis for Rural Road Culverts. The project will allow the County of Yuba to prioritize projects to reduce the flooding of rural roadways. This project will be funded by state and local funds, a majority of which will be from the state's Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program.
