CLIMATE ACTION PLAN UPDATE

The City of Union City (City) is seeking a qualified Consultant to update its Climate Action Plan (CAP). The City adopted its most recent CAP in 2010 and set a goal of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 20-percent below 2005 levels by 2020. The City is seeking to update its CAP to monitor the progress of measures and initiatives adopted in the previous CAP, as well as account for new regulatory requirements and emerging climate issues. Proposals shall include recommendations to address equity and inclusivity in the development of the plan, plan recommendations, benchmarking measures, and other best practices.
