Clifton Gorge Narrow's Trail ADA Improvements

This project is located in Green County at Clifton Gorge Narrow’s Trail, 2381 State Route 343, Yellow Springs, Ohio 45387.

The base bid project involves the construction of 916 lineal feet of concrete paved walkway and construction of 1 new overlook deck and railings. Major items of work include:

*    Site Preparation and partial vegetation clearing and construction of approximately 916 lineal feet of 6-foot-wide concrete walkway and 300 lineal feet of wooden safety railings.

*    Demolition of existing wooden overlook #1 and construction of one new expanded 250 square foot wooden decking overlook with view enhanced railings.

*    Development of ADA accessible concrete paved welcoming patio containing the repositioned existing interpretive sign panels

*    Alternate #1 Site Preparation and partial vegetation clearing and construction of approximately 92 lineal feet of 6’ wide concrete walkway and 80 feet of wooden safety railings.

*    Alternate #2 Demolition of #2 existing wooden overlook and construction of second expanded 225 square foot wooden decking overlook with view enhanced railings.

All work is to be completed under Single Prime Contract. Completion date for all work under this project is May 15, 2026.
