Cleona Borough Hall Renovations - Plumbing Contract

Project Description: Note: There are separate PennBid project postings for the General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical contracts.
Sealed proposals will be received electronically via the PennBid Program by Cleona Borough for the Cleona Borough Hall Renovations Project.
There will be four (4) separate prime contracts for General, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC Construction.
Bids for Contract No. 1 – General Construction will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024. Bids for all other contracts will be opened at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024. Bid results will be posted on PennBid shortly thereafter.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total.
The project includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing interior walls, construction of new interior walls and rooms, removal of existing electrical equipment, installation of new electrical equipment, installation of new plumbing equipment and pipes, removal of existing HVAC systems, installation of new HVAC systems and equipment, and all other construction work required to satisfactorily complete the project, as more fully described in the technical specifications and the contract drawings.
Questions shall be submitted via the “Public Q&A” feature within PennBid.
Pursuant to Act 89, the prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply to the bid work.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Cleona Borough Hall, 140 West Walnut Street, Cleona, PA 17042.
Cleona Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
