CLCSD Pump Station 1W - Purchase and Installation of a Gantry Crane

The County of Ontario (the “County”), will receive sealed bids for IFB# B26034 CLCSD Pump Station 1W - Purchase and Installation of a Gantry Crane . Such sealed bids must be filed with the Ontario County Purchasing Director, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York 14424, PRIOR TO 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read.

Project work includes purchase and installation of Gantry Crane and associated appurtenances for CLCSD Pump Station 1W .

Only sealed hard copy bids will be accepted for this solicitation. New York State GML does not allow us to accept electronic bids for Public Works contracts.

The County of Ontario, NY is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish and install a steel gantry crane at the CLCSD Pump Station 1W located at 3554 County Road 16 Canandaigua, NY 14424. The crane must have a minimum capacity to safely lift and maneuver a pump and motor with a combined weight of 5,300 lbs. with a maximum maximum span of 6 feet. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary components, including a 3-ton manual chain fall hoist attached to the gantry crane, and must ensure that the installation meets all specified requirements and standards. Additionally, the vendor must provide NYS Professional Engineered Stamped Drawings for review and approval prior to fabrication. The vendor's manufacturing and/or repair facility must be located within a one hour drive of Ontario County.
