NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Claiborne County, Mississippi in the Chancery Clerk’s

Office, Claiborne County Courthouse, 410 Market Street, Port Gibson, MS 39150, until 9:00 a.m., Monday, December

01, 2025 and publicly opened in the Claiborne County Board Meeting at 10a.m., Monday, December 01, 2025 for

2.70 Miles of Pavement Resurfacing, known as Project No CC-2025-TO-03 in Claiborne County, Mississippi.

Work on the project shall consist of the following:

Overlaying approximately 2.70 miles of existing Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (DBST) pavement along the

following roadway segments.

All works shall be carried out as per the Standard Specification of the current edition of Mississippi Standard

Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction adopted and approved by Office of State Aid Road Construction,

Mississippi Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration are made a part here of fully and

completely as if it were attached hereto.

CHANGING THE SCOPE OF WORK: Claiborne County reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope of

the Work performed by the Contractor under the Contract Documents. An appropriate increase or decrease in the

Contract Sum and/or Contract Time shall be made for all such changes in the scope of the Work. The contractor shall

be paid for the actual quantities installed.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:

CONTRACT TIME: 30 Working Days

BASIS OF AWARD: The award, if made, will be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder on the basis of

published quantities.

The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into

pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in

response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in

consideration for an award.

(601)968-9194. The cost is fifty dollars ($25.00), non-refundable.

Bids must be hand delivered, or otherwise physically delivered by public or private couriers or delivery service,

including but not limited to U.S. Postal Service, Certified Mail with return receipt requested, United Parcel Service,

Federal Express, or by any other delivery method wherein receipt of said bids must be acknowledged, in writing, by

the addressee at Claiborne County to Ms. Gloria Dotson, Chancery Clerk, attention, P. O. Box 449, Port Gibson,

Mississippi 39150.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
