1 Total Price Estimate for work at RNN
RNN is an existing radio communications tower at 401 W. Highway NN, Sturgeon, MO 65284, approximately
0.21 acres in area. Work to be done at this site involves:
Replacing the existing wood frame equipment shelter with a new cementitious building. The contractor’s
work will consist of site grading, gravel driveway construction, selective fencing demolition, and removal,
removal of brush, small trees, and debris, plus construction of an engineered shelter foundation, and a
generator pad.
Relocating an above-ground LP tank and a pad-mounted generator. Including trenching for electrical,
grounding, and LP lines, excavating for installation of a buried LP tank, and finish grading with the
placement of gravel over a durable vegetation barrier.
Loading the existing wood frame equipment shelter onto a trailer at the site.
The work at this site will require the Contractor to work in a sequence of steps with several periods of
downtime between construction tasks while the County’s staff disconnects, moves, and reconnects
electric, electronic, and mechanical equipment. The individual work tasks are planned to be basic but will
occur in a specific sequence.
