ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the Civic Center Park Improvements Project, located at 820 Sanderson Street, will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Throop Borough, until 11:00 AM local time on October 23, 2025 at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website.
The project includes the installation of a 30’ x 45’ pavilion, new play equipment, playground mulch, rubber curbing and concrete walkway. Site grading, landscaping, milling and repaving of existing parking area and parking lot striping are included with the improvements. Play equipment, pavilion, benches, and rubber curbing will be purchased by the Borough.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10 AM at the Throop Borough Municipal Building located at 436 Sanderson Street, Throop, PA 18512 with a site visit to follow.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage

Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
