Citywide Security Services

The purpose of this RFP is to obtain citywide security guard services for various City of Norfolk (“City”) facilities. The City is seeking a qualified firm (the “Contractor”) with demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality security services using armed and unarmed mobile/roving security officers, twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five (365) days a year.

The City has over thirty-eight (38) facilities including buildings, parking garages, venues, neighborhood service centers, courts, etc. requiring various levels of security services. The primary goal of the City and by extension its security guard service provider is to deliver reliable and professional security services that assure safe and secure environments for customers and employees visiting or working at City facilities.
