Citywide Heat Scarification

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Heat Scarification Project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to mobilization, maintenance of traffic (vehicular and pedestrian), sweep cleaning and adjust utilities prior to heat scarification and re-compaction of existing asphalt surfaces.

The “Heat Scarification Project” consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to completely re-heat existing asphalt to a depth of 1-to-11/2-inch depth, install rejuvenating agent and re-spread rejuvenated material with the strike off device to provide a level and uniform cross section and provide proper traffic control and hand out notification fliers as specified and perform related work as required.
