City of Statesboro Street Resurfacing FY 2025

Invitation to Bid

The City of Statesboro requests sealed bids from qualified contractors for the plant mix resurfacing on roads within the City of Statesboro (COS). All roads can be located on the location map provided in this Invitation to Bid (ITB) package.

Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Central Services at the Municipal Court Building, 22 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia, 30458 (Attention: Darren Prather, Director of the Department of Central Services) until 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2025, to perform work under the contract for ¿City of Statesboro Street Resurfacing FY 2025¿.

The work in this contract includes asphalt resurfacing of approximately 2.31 miles of city streets, 33,968 square yards of asphalt milling, and deep patching as well as the installation of thermoplastic striping.

Proposal forms, plans and specifications can be obtained from the City of Statesboro Department of Central Services. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid. See specifications for the requirements concerning other bonds and insurance.

Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 27, 2025, at the Municipal Court Building. The City of Statesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or informalities.
