Perform an engineering study describing the steps necessary to implement railroad quiet zone/zones in the City of Raleigh. Scope of work includes providing recommendations for supplemental safety measures (SSMs) including cost, time, and feasibility with consideration of planned infrastructure projects. The quiet zones must follow the standards set forth in 49 CFR Part 222 – Use of Locomotive Horns at Public Highway-Rail Grade Crossings |
