CITY OF PAXTON, SENIOR CENTER CONSTRUCTION,
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS.
Sealed bids for the construction of the Paxton Senior Center will be received in the office of the Owner located at 21872 U.S. Hwy 331 N Laurel Hill, FL 32567, until 2:00 pm, Local Time on October 31th, 2024. The bids will be opened and read aloud on the same day in the City of Paxton Council Chambers.
The project consists of:
Construction of a new single story, community facility approximately 3,485 SF. The proposed facility is designed to provide a service and activity center for Senior Citizens and will consist of a dining and activity area as well as handicapped accessible bathrooms and serving area. The project also includes a new site development with parking, landscaping providing power, gas, water, connection to sewer and any other utility shown in the contract documents.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the office of the Owner at 10:00 a.m. CST on October 24th, 2024.
The City of Paxton, Florida proposes to award a contract to the provider whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the City subject to the negotiation of fair and reasonable compensation consistent with industry standards. The City of Paxton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and if an award is made, will be made to the most reasonable firm whose proposal indicates that the award will be in the best interest of the City of Paxton. The City reserve the right to waive irregularities in the proposal. The City further certifies that it will not discriminate during the selection process on the basis of age, sex, familial status, race, national origin, or handicap status.
