PURPOSE: It is the intent of the City of North Port (hereafter “City”) to secure services of a qualified and experienced Third-Party Administrator (hereinafter “TPA”) to provide claims adjusting and related TPA services to the City’s Risk Management Division for its self-insured property casualty and worker’s compensation program.  The successful Quoter shall administer the program in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 440 as amended from time to time, applicable Rules of the Florida Administrative Code, Collective Bargaining Agreements, applicable City Codes, Ordinances, Administrative Regulations and Resolutions.  Services will also include administration of indemnity, medical payments and other services usual and customary to worker’s compensation claims administration.
